The ‘Signposts’ column in this issue presents scenarios on the Russo-Ukrainian conflict first developed by the Futuribles International association in the spring of 2022. These scenarios, produced by a collective endeavour which, given the continuation of hostilities, is still ongoing, are being — and will regularly be — revised as the international context changes.
