BERTHELOT Marcelin
Marcelin Berthelot was a French Chemist (1827-1907) who was responsible for the synthesis of acetylene (1860) and also held political office (Minister of Public Education in 1886-1887 and Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1895-1896).
