Born in 1919 in New York, Daniel Bell is one of the main Theorists of post-industrialism, first as a Journalist, then as a Professor of Sociology (Columbia, Chicago, Harvard), a Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a Founding Member of the Futuribles group.
