A Team
We have a team of some 15 employees who organize and carry out the day-to-day work of the Futuribles association and company.
That work includes:
- publishing Futuribles journal and regular articles and foresight analyses on the Futuribles website;
- organizing training sessions, round tables and various events;
- providing support for applied foresight exercises.
The team at Futuribles is involved in designing activities and carrying them out in close collaboration with the scientific advisers, members of the association and partner organizations.
Members
The members of the association include both legal entities (companies, associations, public authorities) and individuals. They are the primary audience for the material produced by the Futuribles International Association. Through its annual general meeting and regular council meetings, they play a major role in steering the association. Above and beyond these governance structures, the members are also involved in work on collaborative studies within the working groups.
Scientific Advisers
The association’s scientific advisers are recognized experts in their fields, who make a crucial contribution to the association’s work by drawing attention to issues worthy of consideration and providing ongoing assessment of the materials produced.
The Editorial Board
Some of the scientific advisers are members of the Futuribles journal editorial board, which sets the direction for the full-time staff writers and assesses articles before they are published.
Partnerships and collaborations
Futuribles has an ongoing relationship with many French and foreign organizations, collaborating frequently with them either on a contractual basis or less formally.
Futuribles’s partners, like its scientific advisers, are not all ‘futurists’, but are experts in their field who are willing to engage in exercises in multi-disciplinary, systemic futures thinking.
