IFPRI held a major international conference on food security in Bonn, Germany, in september 2001. More than 900 people from the public and private sectors and civil society came together for three days to discuss goals, solutions, and the actions necessary to end hunger in the next two decades. These proceedings compile the presentations made by more than 70 speakers, summaries of the discussions that followed, results of polls taken during the conference, and other highlights.
