If the well-being of future generations is to direct our global governance, sustainability has to become the main key word. There is no lack of analysis concluding (like the Rio conference) with the necessity of a transition to a sustainable society. There is also no lack of books and pamphlets describing weaknesses of the present social system, or discussing the main challenges to future human survival.
Much less emphasis is put on the question of how to get from here ...
