Energy in Africa to 2050

This report by the Fondation Jean-Jaurès is on Africa’s access to energy, which is seen as a crucial question for the future.
Though Africa represents 15% of the world’s population, it consumes only 3% of global energy. It is a ‘fractured’ continent, as its regional disparities are extreme:
