How can we promote those that seem desirable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>Vigie 2020 Report<\/em> offers an overview of 16 \u2018what if scenarios\u2019 that provide sketches of the global scene over the next 30 years. It explores a number of deep discontinuities and shocks, some of them very probable (environmental change, shifts in the power relations between states etc.), others less so (the advent of a synthetic ecology, the growing influence of religion on politics etc.).
