Jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, l&#8217;alimentation, du fait de ses sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s (produits frais et p\u00e9rissables, ou pond\u00e9reux), paraissait peu concern\u00e9e par le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne. Mais les pure players comme Amazon ou le britannique Ocado se sont lanc\u00e9s malgr\u00e9 tout\r\nsur le march\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00e9picerie en ligne et ont bouscul\u00e9 les distributeurs classiques, les poussant \u00e0 s&#8217;engager, avec des modalit\u00e9s vari\u00e9es selon les pays (drives, livraison, etc.).\r\n\r\nL&#8217;\u00e9pid\u00e9mie de Covid-19 a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le d&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur de cette tendance d\u00e9j\u00e0 engag\u00e9e, en convertissant les cat\u00e9gories de population encore r\u00e9ticentes \u00e0 ces nouveaux services, comme les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es. L&#8217;e-commerce alimentaire a fait un bond depuis 2020, mais la question de sa rentabilit\u00e9 se pose toujours. Pour r\u00e9soudre cette \u00e9quation, de nombreuses innovations sont explor\u00e9es qui visent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts logistiques, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 l&#8217;automatisation. La dimension service se renforce \u00e9galement, elle permet d&#8217;apporter une valeur ajout\u00e9e par les recommandations personnalis\u00e9es, les suggestions de recettes et la fourniture des ingr\u00e9dients pour les r\u00e9aliser, des shows en streaming pour mettre en valeur les produits\u2026\r\n\r\nLes magasins physiques ne sont pas en disparition pour autant.
