This report aims to formulate recommendations about the usefulness and added value of territorial foresight, as a tool for decision making for Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs) as well as a support mechanism for the Committee of the Regions (CoR) in the framework of its political and consultative framework.
The report also analyses the interactions between European strategies and policies and the activities of the analysed territorial foresights, in order to assess the potential opportunity to create a territorial foresight network or platform at European level as regards this analysis.
