Futuribles

Futuribles is a monthly, interdisciplinary journal about the contemporary world’s largest issues and possible futures.

Vigie Info

Vigie Info is an Internet blog, continually updated with posts about “seed” ideas and events pulled from recent headlines.

Vigie Info is a service reserved for Futuribles International’s partner and associate members.

Bibliographie prospective

The monthly bibliographical bulletin of Futuribles International, Bibliographie prospective, gives selective and analytical information about future studies being completed in France and abroad.

Each 8-page issue includes:

Focus section: a detailed spotlight on a brand new future studies work from France or abroad

10-15 references: books, articles, and conference reports accompanied by an abstract, key words, and websites

Themes that correspond to a range of future issues: demography, environment, energy, geopolitics, technology, lifestyles, work, values, economic projections, etc.

The selection of documents is carried out through the Futuribles team’s on-going work and close contact with hundreds of think-tanks on five continents. The bulletin is processed internally or by exterior specialists in relevant topics.

Unique in France (but modeled after the American bulletins of Future Survey [http://www.wfs.org/fsurv.htm] and the German ProZukunft [http://www.jungk-bibliothek.at/prozukunft/default.htm]), the Bibliographie prospective spares you the tedious work of retrieving information by outlining the most essential prospective works each month.

References in the Bibliographie prospective are excerpts from the Octave database, which is accessible at http://www.futuribles.com/octave.html (access requires membership).

Study of the strategic environment of enterprises

Having provided economic intelligence, foresight, and strategic analysis for more than 40 years, Futuribles International has become an authority in the field, and works in close relation with the most prestigious think tanks in France and abroad. It maintains a close, critical watch of the recent developments in future studies regarding the evolution of the strategic environment of businesses on the horizon for 2010 and 2020.

This important work has given rise to the report:

“L’Environnement stratégique des entreprises à l’horizon 2010 et 2020: scenarios de cadrage”  (The Strategic Environment of Companies to 2010 and 2020: Guideline Scenarios)
